assault-weaponsIt is a common practice in warfare to spread dis-information about your intensions and capabilities to confuse or mislead your enemy. After the recent articles in the New York Times and ProPublica, as well as a study by The Center for American Progress one might believe the anti-gun proponents have changed their minds about banning “assault weapons” and will focus instead upon efforts to enforce more rigorous background checks and registration.

VICTIM TREATS ATTACKER

According to the story from WKRN-TV Nashville, a man who was assaulted and had to shoot the VCA then administered trauma treatment before driving him to the hospital. Click to Read: Homeowner shoots man after assault at his home. I believe that putting oneself in close proximity to a person who just tried to cause great bodily harm or death is not recommended.

On the other hand, in the case of Larry Hickey, his treatment of his attacker showed he was compassionate and helped him during legal proceedings. What do you think of choices of the assault victim, Mr. Dobson? Maybe because the attacker was the father of his girlfriend’s daughter? Only you can decide what you will do if you are faced with a similar situation. Ultimately, the choice is yours. You make the call!
