WHATS IN THE NEWS

TWO IS ONE…

One is None. My colleague and friend Frank Sharpe does a great job of describing the details of why it’s important to have more than one gun and the accompanying equipment necessary for proper daily carry.

Some will still argue that carrying two guns is too much – that they’ll never both be needed and I’m just being paranoid. My answer to that is: I sure hope so.

FIGHT TO WIN

sanmarcwin

In training it is difficult at best to simulate injury or being shot. The best we can do to simulate this is during scenario-based training using airsoft or simunitions. They hurt, but they won’t kill you.

What we can do during training is work on our mindset. Decisiveness, Speed, Acting First to counter the threat will give you the best chance to win the fight for your life. Your mindset, your attitude will be what gives you the advantage to win.

In the photo above you see the store clerk, Patrick Reilly, take the fight to the armed robber. In the ensuing struggle, he was shot in the chest but kept fighting and won! Click to Watch: Store clerk gets shot during robbery, keeps on fighting.
