WHAT’S IN THE NEWS
There have been a number of attempts to abduct children over the past several weeks. They have been seen in various locations in the metro and north past Wyoming. They have tried to convince children to go with them to look for a missing dog, or using other methods to entice them. Please report any suspicious activity to your local law enforcement immediately and teach your children to avoid people that would ask them to do something without first talking to their parents. Despite the efforts of the anti-gun groups, more and more Americans are seeing the benefit of acquiring a permit to carry. The Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), is a research and education organization dedicated to conducting academic quality research on the relationship between gun ownership, crime, and public safety. Their latest report has documented over 11.1 million Carry Permit holders not including the four states (and most of Montana) that don’t require permits to carry a concealed handgun. Mindset. One significant portion of it is the will to win. This video from Police One is a good example of an officer who kept fighting despite getting shot twice and having broken his wrists when he fell.
