WHAT’S IN THE NEWS
Iraq is in turmoil. The current Administration will not support our Allies in Baghdad. The US Contractors are on their own to try and escape, for which they have prepared as best they can. When the time comes for you to defend yourself, you will be on your own, and hopefully you have made the choices necessary to be prepared. I recommend you be prepared as much as you can afford. As ISIS takes control of Iraq and acquires the weapons and funding (via oil) they need, they will begin to project terrorist acts abroad, even to the United States.
A Good Guy with a Gun. Stopped a robbery in progress at his store. Red Lake Falls shop owner catches burglar during early Sunday heist attempt. Now, I don’t recommend holding criminals at gun-point until the Police arrive. When they see you with a gun that often means the Police will assume you are the bad guy. The risk is lessened if you tell the bad guy to run away. Then when the Police arrive, you can report him and let them go catch the guy.
